Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Great service and experience. They processed my family-based AOS from a valid F-1 Status in 2.5 months. The interviewer was very nice and asked typical questions about our relationship and personal questions. I only waited about 20 minutes before entering the interview. Then they told me I was approved, but did not stamp my passport. However, I had the interview in a Monday and they send me the conditional green card the Friday of the same week.

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Our experience at the Tucson Field Office was very positive! We went there for our AOS green card interview. Although our appointment was scheduled for 11:35 and we weren't seen until about 12:15, but everything else went smoothly. The officer took us back to her office, went over all of our paperwork and basically just had a casual conversation with us about where we live here and in France and what are plans were for the future (mentioned my husband could apply for citizenship in 3 years). After the interview was finished, she approved it on the spot. We needed to go back to France two weeks after the interview date so in case we hadn't received the green card before then, she stamped my husband's passport allowing him to leave and come back into the country without the card.

Overall great experience!

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

**Adjusting status from a K1 visa**

The appointment was delayed, but only by about 15 minutes, and the Officer was very nice and explained that they had staff shortages that morning.
We went into a small interview room. The officer looked through our file and asked me to verify my name, address and DOB. He chatted briefly with myself and my husband, and then stated that the application had been approved, and that I will receive my GC within the next two weeks. I received two identical emails a few hours later stating that my card has gone into production.

In our experience, all of the staff at the Tucson Office are very friendly, helpful and professional. Dealing with USCIS has been a very pleasant overall experience for us

Review Topic: Employment Authorization

Everything went so well! I was a little nervous at first. She asked us some questions on how we met, and asked to see proof of our marriage. I provided wedding photos, a copy of our insurance card, a bill that he pays that has our address on it, and our bank account statement. We chatted about the weather and about how awesome Tucson is and before I knew it we were approved!

Review Topic: Adjustment of Status

Note: I adjusted status from a K1 visa, after immigrating from Canada.

The interview went extremely well and it was actually quite enjoyable. We arrived about 15 minutes before our interview time and were taken in about 10 minutes after that. The whole process took about 15 minutes.

Our interviewer was very nice and it was more like a conversation than anything else. I came very prepared, but all that she asked for was my husband's and my ID's (I used my EAD/AP card), and our documents to prove joint assets. I had our lease, our bank account statements (most recent for checking and saving), our health insurance cards, my husband's life insurance policy with my name as beneficiary, and a bill from dental surgery I had that my husband paid for, with our address on it. We also brought a photo album that spanned our whole relation, with around 150-200 photos in it. She spent most of the interview asking about how we met and the relationship progressed, and th... read complete review
